A Background Hour

Friday’s Scrap Basket Sensations hour was spent cutting my background fabric.  Kim suggests using scrappy, of course, but I didn’t have enough of the right kind of scrappy, so I just hauled out a big bunch of Kona Something-whiteish.  I purchased it some time ago when Joann’s had a big Kona sale and had put it away for just such an opportunity.

So, lots of cutting.  Again, the cutting for these quilts goes fairly quickly.  It took just a little over an hour to generate this:

Today (Saturday) I will start sewing.  YAY!
