A Corner Triangles Hour

Corner triangles.  It is a simple concept that Kim has applied to many different quilt patterns in Scrap Basket Sensations, particularly to the quilt I am making:  Nova.

So, Saturday’s hour was spent sewing a lot of small white squares onto 2-1/2″ strips of various lengths.  In fact, I must confess that I worked for more than an hour.  Who could resist? In more like two hours, I produced a wonderful pile of strips ready to assemble into blocks.

Also, a bunch of squares that look like half-square triangles, but aren’t exactly.

Oh, this is too exciting.

Remember to check out the various giveaways hosted on the Scrap Basket Sensations blog tour for more information and a chance to win your own copy.  Or, just break down and buy one and get it over with.  Then you can have as much fun as I am having.

More tomorrow.  This will be the best documented quilt I have ever created.
