Sixteen Years

While I just had my one year blogging anniversary, in some ways Wedding Dress Blue started sixteen years ago.

Yes, sixteen years ago my husband had the good fortune to marry a 26-year old up-and-coming business executive.

Now, he has a middle-aged quilting (mostly) housewife  homemaker.

What happened?

Well, a pretty long list of things, actually.  Children. Moves.  Remodels. Job changes. Ups. Downs. Sickness.  Health.

But, what I do know is that I am one lucky woman.

Thank You, Husband, for keeping me all these years.

Don’t forget to enter my giveaway in celebration of all of this.  And the tutorial is coming later on today.  Really. Promise.

  1. such a lovely shade of blue…love it..and your story…and you are a HOMEMAKER not a housewife..i know—not nice to criticize in such a lovely post..but you are the true epitomy of a homemaker..and i say congratulations on 16 years …and on being here for all of us..

  2. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. Your blog title “Wedding Dress Blue” underscores those things in our lives that make us who we are, defines our personalities and makes this such a wonderful world!
