Back To School Token Of Love

What do you do the night before you send your very fine children off to middle school?  Together.  For the first time.

Make hair clips!

Of course, Young Son doesn’t care much for hair clips, but he is always kind to his sister and assures her that she looks good.

And I certainly felt better.  A burst of creativity is good for lifting one’s mood.

PS–They are made using a clip, felt, random buttons and a lot of hot glue.  If more specific directions would be helpful, please let me know.
