Fish Quilt Flimsy—Times Two

The Fish Quilt is a flimsy, times two.  What does that mean?  It means the back is almost as interesting as the front with piecing and sashing and an I-spy look all its own. In all the quilt has about 130 different fish fabrics. Who knew there were that many in world?  My undying gratitude to all who sent fabric and/or good wishes.  I couldn’t have done it without you.

Sadly, I didn’t take pictures before they–top and bottom–were whisked off to the quilters.  She has agreed to make a rush order.  Very kind.

I hope to have it back soon.  Really soon.  Now that I am over the intimidation of starting, I can’t wait to be finished!

  1. I’m sure you’ll get pictures when it comes back all nicely quilted. How great that she could fit it in. I look forward to seeing some nicely quilted fish, or whatever. =) Congratulations on a finish.

  2. since you mentioned wanting fish fabric i have noticed so much of it in the stores..i probably wouldn;t have noticed them before..indeed there are a lot of them out there…can hardly wait to see the quilt—front and back–when it is done…

  3. Cant wait to see the finished quilt. Wow really, who would have guessed that there were that many different fish fabrics. But then threre where probably others like myself, who was holding onto it for years.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It is nice to hear from you.
