Where I’ve Been

Teaching at a charter school is such a great job!  This week, as part of our learning-by-doing philosophy, we did Opening Camp, otherwise known as three days of school in the woods.

Such an adventure!

We had many classes, some free time, a lot of togetherness and a wonderful chance to get the year started right.

It is always sad to leave…

But we have made new friends and built memories to last a lifetime.

I am home, cleaned up and just about ready for a long weekend.  Maybe involving sewing, if I am lucky. And recovered.

  1. what a wonderful way for the students to start their school year and for the teachers to get acquainted with their students on an informal basis…good luck with your sewing this weekend..tomorrow is my grand daughter’s baby shower and I am sewing burp cloths and burpettes…
