Antenna Angst

There are now two fireflies, the red one and the green one, and both have a wonky antenna.

I am not sure why, but it is the way it is, and I am not going to rip it out again.

Perhaps the quilting will help conceal the fact that my fireflies can’t see straight.

Oh well, one block to go:  brown owl.

  1. I wouldn’t have noticed, until you pointed it out – even in the insect world there is imperfection :p … it looks fine – love all your work on this quilt 🙂

  2. They were from the same egg hatching. They are genetically modified fireflies. Their blinkers work fine, though. =) Love it even more than the red one!

  3. We all have something wonky with us. Yours is just fine. wouldn’t have notice if you had said nothing. Still don’t see it. Love your color choices

  4. Wonky antenna give character! I doubt anyone will notice as there is way too many other things to draw the attention away from the wonkiness only seen when pointed out. Isn’t it funny how we think we need to point such things out?!?!?!

  5. I couldn’t see it till I looked REAL HARD! If it bothers you, just unpick the tan rectangle above the insect’s head and ease the black antennae and pin before restitching just that part … fabric does have some give and you can probably get it “right on” by pin-taking right through the joining spot.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It is nice to hear from you.
