It’s A Top!

Fancy Forest is now a complete top.

What a fun and interesting process it has been.  If you are even a tiny bit off on seam allowance it shows in assembly, but it is all pulled, pushed and stretched together and I think it will quilt up well.

Thank you so much for following along.  I will share the finished product when it is ready, which needs to be soon as that baby is probably arriving either today or tomorrow.

  1. It looks fabulous! You were up early this morning – or maybe scheduled your post? I was surprised to see it when I got up – not early. =) Any little one would recognize the love in this quilt!

  2. It’s beautiful! My husband and I have really enjoyed seeing your progress. I’m looking forward to seeing the quilting design now. I’m a new long arm quilter so now I’m paying attention to the piecing and quilting. Congratulations on your upcoming arrival of a new grandson. We, too, are expecting one as well. He’s not expected until late November though. Gives me a lot of time. Take care. Stephanie

  3. I’ve loved watching you make each animal and wondered how it would all look once they were pieced together – now it’s on to the quilting and I hope you finish on schedule – what a lucky baby 🙂

  4. I just finished the bunnies for my small size Fancy Forest today! I made the foxes last week. Hopefully I can at least get the owls cut out tomorrow. The bunny mouth was a challenge!

    Yours turned out so cute!

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It is nice to hear from you.
