I got it quilted.
And bound.
There were some problems with the piecing of some of the flying geese (I suspect the stitch-trim-flip style) that put some puckers in the top, but I think they will mostly wash out. At least I hope so.
And I still love the back.
No tutorial, but small squares are cut at 2-1/2″ and the flying geese are 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″. Finished size 36-1/2″x36-1/2″.
I love this quilt!! The white strips & background really set the squares & geese off nicely. This one goes on my “Quilts to Make” list.
What a beautiful little quilt! Well done!
I congratulate anyone who makes that many flying geese! Way to go girl!!!!
There’s just something about long strips of flying geese! The fabrics in your quilt are really nice. It will be a great quilt for snuggling under with a book 🙂
With your lovely curvy quilting, I suspect no one would ever notice any poofing otherwise. It’s just beautiful, and waiting for some lucky baby!
This quilt turned out fantastic. I’ve been following your progress.
You are just a sewing-quilting Master these last two months!
Love this little quilt! I particularly like the plaid binding, but am also drawn to the back of the quilt. Congratulations on a quilt well done.
It is very stunning small quilt. Congratulations on the finish!
Another finish! It turned out very nice, even if it does have little tucks – pure character!
