UFO Giveaway #6: Cardinal In The Pines

Recently I inherited part of a quilters stash.  Much of it was received with joy.  However, not all of it is things that I will use in the near future.  These UFO’s deserve a home where they will be loved and used.  Like YOURS!

Giveaway #6 is a Cardinal In The Pines quilt kit.  The pattern says finished size 65×77 but there is much more fabric included.  Maybe enough for the backing, too.  Some fabric has been cut and a few blocks stitched, but mostly unused.

If you can afford to help with postage, that would be great.  This should fit in a medium priority mail box, which costs $14.35.  I will get it in the mail as soon as possible after the end of the giveaway.

  17. My father passed away 4 years ago and cardinals were his favorite. Being from Michigan, I have continued his love of cardinals and everything related. Congrats to whoever wins this gem.

  19. My son and DIL love everything cardinal…as the cardinals mate for life and that is their goal, also. They’ve had quite a few serious setbacks in 10 years, but still are committed and loving. I would be happy to pay for shipping and would definitely finish this for them. Not for this Christmas, though! 🙂

  20. Thank you a chance for the fabric and pattern. I have just finished completed an unfinished project I purchased at a quilt show. I bought 42 signature blocks that were hand embroidered and hand pieces but never made into what they should be a, quilt. They are now shining brightly in a finished quilt. I think the original maker would be pleased. Wish I knew more about there story and their journey to me. Miriam in Texas.
