Your response to Star Kissed was so kind! Thank you!
I am still sewing along on blocks. There are 8 of them now. And I still like them a lot.
So, here’s the deal: If you find this project interesting, start gathering squares–1-1/2″ or 2″ or 2-1/2″. Whatever makes you happy. I will shortly produce a quiltalong that will make a quilt using that size. It has been a while.
Come, sew along!
Thank you so much for doing this for us! I am really excited. I love Star quilts. And a way to use my scraps—that is a win-win for me. Looking forward to it. Thanks again.
Love this!
That’s really pretty. 😀
Oh boy. I already collect pieces of fabrics cut to these sizes. I can see the freight train heading right toward me, and I can’t get off the tracks. This QAL is going to roll right over me and I’ll have to participate. Thanks for the warning. At least I can get a few deadline projects out of the way. ~smile~ Roseanne
I’m in ! I loved doing the Calico Rose QAL.
Good morning. Where can we find the tutorial for Star Kissed? Thank you, Cindy Nelson

I have a pile of 2.5″ squares sitting on my windowsill collecting dust. =)
I am in great way to use up a lot of my scraps
I promised myself I would not join in on QAL or Mystery Quilts in 2020, but I love this block and it would fall in using my stash, another promise I made with myself! Hmmm. Okay, I’m in. May not keep up, but I’m in!
Yesterday I said, “No more new Good Ideas I can’t pass up” and along came this one to use all those 2 1/2 in strips I have made trying to organize 50 years of sewing leftovers…..So yes, this one adds to the mix of must do this year!
I’m looking forward to making this pattern. Thanks for sharing.
I have a bunch of 16 patch small squares of 30s fabric sewn up wondering what to do with them. I bet this will work.
Love it! And a good scrappy project.
Ready to start whenever you are ready! I have a life-time supply of 2.5 squares that need a home in a quilt. I may even start making the 5 x 5 centers for these stars as I work on other projects.
Thank you for the upcoming quilt-a-long. Looking forward to it.
Awesome! I can’t wait. I have a box with 2.5″ squares and another with 1.5″ (remains from a postage stamp quilt.) It will be nice to use them. I have pieced quite a few into 4-patches, using them as leaders and enders, so part of the piecing is already started.
I hope you provide dimensions for the various sizes everyone will be using.
bring it on! I am sure it will be lovely. Thank you for everything you do!
Do your flying geese finish at 3”x6”? I have some that size already made… this might work!
This may become my new favorite. Now to figure out what I do 1.5″, 2″ or 2.5″ squares. I have enough of all of them. LOL
