How are you doing with your Star Kissed blocks? Remember there is no hurry, but I do like to know how it is going and if there is anything I can do to help.
Today I am sharing another option for your blocks. (Information on the entire quiltalong HERE.) Since the quilt is designed in four different block sizes, I decided to make four different quilts to show some ideas that might work for you.
These blocks are based on 1-1/2″ squares. Four of them, with triple sashing (also based on 1-1/2″) makes a 37″ baby quilt or table topper. Of course, feel free to add more blocks. I think it would make a striking bed quilt.
Keep stitching!
I rather like that layout. 😀
I really like that layout 🙂
This layout is really beautiful. And, since I am using 1 1/2 inch squares, it works great for me. I notice that you are using solids. Do you think using prints would be too much?
The colours all pop on this quilt! Love the crispness!
Hi Deanna! Oh, this quilt is so darn cute. I love all the different colors and the borders with sashing really make it just perfect for me. Yup. If you don’t have a plan for it, I’ll give it a great home. And if you do, then I guess I’ll just have to make my own. I LOVE every.single.thing.about.it. ~smile~ Roseanne
Hi Deanna. This quilt is perfection! I love the bright cheery colours and that layout is just right. 😄 Carol
It is very pretty. (Too small! Too small! screams my head.) I like the brightness of it for a child, too. Since I got the longarm, I haven’t made any blocks or parts, until this last week – and that was only one block and part of one! So I still have 5 centers and still haven’t found my four patches.
