Days Filled With Joy understands her job. If you are in a funk, there is nothing like a good mystery to get your mojo going in a positive direction.
I don’t know that I was really in a funk, but any excuse for a good scrappy quilt, right?!
I am so pleased with how this turned out. As I chose to add sashing between the blocks I ran out of the original background piece and had to (after looking at FOUR different stores) do the outer border from something different. Indoor light and quilting will hopefully minimize the differences.
Thank you, Joy, for a fun quiltalong. I have really enjoyed myself.
This is a beautiful quilt! What a great use of scraps! Happy stitching!
I love your extra border of white. I started this quilt after seeing yours and it has been fun! Thank you for sharing such a great adventure.
I’d say it was planned. 🙂 Looks lovely.
The quilt is beautiful! I couldn’t follow along but will start on the quilt tomorrow. Hope mind is a nice as yours. Thank you for the QAL
It is scrappy, so it is ok.
Gorgeous, just gorgeous!
I love love love your Mystery Quilt. Colorful, joyful, and wonderful use of favorite scraps.

Nice, crisp and happy quilt. Congrats on the finish.
A very happy quilt! I like the way the half-square triangles in the colored border of the 9 patch give the block a softer overall look. The different colored whites are not at all obvious in the picture, and it is a scrap quilt so it should be fine!
I love how your sashing with the keystone squares adds to the design!! Great job!
Even with a slightly different outer border, it’s all the border, so I don’t think it really makes a difference that matters. Your final quilt is just lovely. I have four more steps to do! I love that two friends started after I did and both of you are finished before I am. LOL
Thank you for posting this mystery link. I followed along and also posted it on my Facebook page, Quilting Time in Dixie. My top is finished. pj
