Disappointment Becomes A New Idea

While the book wasn’t what I wanted, I couldn’t get the quilt on the cover out of my mind.

But, it turns out that disappointment can be a good starting point for a new idea.

And there were scraps.

So, I started cutting 2″ squares.

And now there are blocks. YAY! I love new ideas.

  1. A great start for another project! I especially like the transparency you achieved in the block with the red center.

  2. It’s strange how all the placements are the same but look so different, depending on the fabric colour 🙂

  3. I love these blocks. Even though they are the same, each one looks so different because of the fabric placement.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It is nice to hear from you.
