Remember Gone With the Wind, Scarlett O’Hara and her green curtain dress?
As I am working on the second Refashion Runway challenge, Emerald Green, it is on my mind. Lesson: Use what you have. Make it beautiful. Wear it with pride.
Good advice!

Cannot wait to see what you do….
I definitely remember that from the book. I was impressed with her resourcefulness then and now. I can hardly wait to see if you are using a curtain for Sparkle Jane’s prom dress! LOL
Can’t wait to see it.
I am reminded of the Carol Burnett sketch where she leaves the curtain rod across the shoulders and says “I saw it in the window and just had to have it” And seriously-Sparkle Jane deserves at least a fine Egyptian Cotton top sheet with a high thread count!
go for it…the skies the limit, good luck
I remember seeing Scarlett in the movie in that dress—and also Carol Burnett in that routine with the rod still thru the dress…hmmm…I would be hard pressed to find anything made of emerald green here but I bet you have something in your mind that you have…can hardly wait to see!!!
This made me laugh! 🙂 Sometimes we take ourselves way too seriously. Love your lesson: Use what you have. That’s probably the story of my life! Haha!
Love it! I can’t wait to see what you come up with this week! 🙂 Do you remember the Gone With The Wind spoof from the Carol Burnett Show? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6bOpJ5elW8
Hilarious! 😉
