This last weekend I finally got back to the Star-fishy quilt and finished it for delivery to that baby boy.
I had to or he would grow up before the quilt got there. Babies do that, you know. Growing is their full-time job.
But, he is still little and the quilt is there and I am happy.
If you have a small piece of a special fabric and just can’t decide, consider making My Size Stars. They “stretch” fabric beautifully.
There was less than a fat quarter of the fish fabric, and, LOOK, it became an entire baby quilt. YAY!

Such a cute quilt!
It’s adorable! Love the pieced binding as well, nice touch!
Nice finish! And yes, they do grow. I am making a couple twin sized quilts because I wasn’t fast enough on the baby ones.
That binding is perfect, and you came up with a terrific idea. Thanks for always sharing your talents!
Looks greatDenise
I always get so much out of your posts! Thank you for sharing your tremendous talent! I am sure that little guy will love it!
Lucky little man. Beautiful quilt.
