Another Quick Finish

My sister-in-law is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Sort of a big deal.

And she “needed” a quilt. It is the same design as the recent “trash quilt”: rectangles 3″ x 5-1/2″.

YAY for a (last minute) finish!

ps– I stitched down the binding as we traveled to visit her and I had to take the pictures in a hotel hallway.

  1. Go Dawgs! Yes! In Georgia it is a big deal to graduate from the University of Georgia says a fellow UGA alum!

I love the quilt and the backing that you used. If you have time I’d love to know where the backing fabric came from. UGA quilts are great to make for babies of alums. Kayehlavaty@yahoo.com

  2. Beautiful! It cracked me up when I read about you stitching the binding down on your way to your sister in laws. Sounds like something I’d do.

  3. That is too funny! i actually gave an afghan with knitting needles still attached. Told my niece that if she wanted it finished, she had to give it back and I would mail it to her. I knitted the 3 hours that we drove to her house. It was a BIG afghan! LOL!

  4. Congratulations to your SIL! I’d be disowned if I got caught cheering our rivals -the Bulldogs! lol. My son is a Ramblin’ Wreck from Georgia Tech. 🙂 Love the quilt. This one looks so different with just a color chance. But, I liked the last one just as much.♥

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It is nice to hear from you.
